J&W have launched a new Android Mini PC this week, which has been created to try and make Android computing a little more mainstream and provides a small form factor Mini PC for just €99.
The new J&W Minix Neo X5 Android mini PC is powered by a Rockchip Dual Core Cortex A9 CPU, supported by 1GB of DDR3 memory and graphics provided by a Quad Core Mali 400 GPU.
Out of the box the Minix Neo X5 runs Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system, but its not been mentioned if an upgrade to Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system is currently in the works.
Other features of the Minix Neo X5 include 3 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 X HDMI, 1 x SD Card Reader, 1 x Ethernet and wireless connectivity via 802.11 a/b/g/n. A stick version of the Android mini PC is also available for €75.
