Notes

1.] Users of RTL8188RU devices should not use this build unless they blacklist conflicting drivers at boot. Please use Beini 1.2.3 or 1.2.4 | Reaver Edition instead.

2.] Minidwep must be launched from the RootShell. Type minidwep-gtk (enter) to launch it. Same goes for Feeding Bottle,  to launch Feeding Bottle use sudo "gksu /bin/feedingbottle/feedingbottle" which is located in /bin/feedingbottle/feedingbottle which you can access through Xfe file manager.

3.] As always, if it does not work try another version.

4.] This will be the final version. Development ceases with 1.2.5. An alternative is to use XiaopanOS from now on.

Installing Reaver Pro

Reaver Pro comes with a USB thumb drive preloaded with all the software to get you started. It contains a operating system which I suspect is some sort of Linux build and of course all the reaver tools. You have a few options to install Reaver Pro: Boot from the Reaver Pro USB.

1. Plug in your USB stick
2. Plug in your Reaver Pro receiver
3. Restart or reboot your Windows or Linux computer

4. Access your BIOS settings to change the boot devices and the order in which they boot from. You need to boot to USB first before your hard disk with your native operating system.

5. To access your BIOS you generally have to push a function key such as F1 or F2
5. Save your settings then reboot your BIOS
6. After Reaver GUI boots you will be able to plug and play

Run Reaver Pro GUI in Virtual Machine (VM) Environment in your Native Operating System

This enables Reaver Pro to be fully compatible with Mac and Windows. You will need some sort of virtualisation software like Parallels (paid), VMware (paid) or VirtualBox (free). You will also need to copy the files from your Reaver Pro USB and use Plop Boot Manager (plbpt.iso) to create an iso image file which you can boot into.

The downside of running a VM is that your system resources will be shared between your native OS, Reaver OS and the VM software you are running. This is the only option on a Mac because they have EFI boot. Do not bother trying to boot Reaver via USB. You can download Reaver Pro from here.

Create XiaoPan USB Bootable OS

This will create a portable build which you can load in a virtual machine environment or you can even boot into it! It is essentially a live CD but on USB.

I like having this as an idea because you could use most windows computers with no need to install some sort of virtual software, it also ensures that all your systems resources stay in your OS to get maximum performance. It is also kinda a cool idea to have a WiFi hacking laptop and accessories. If you want this you should also install Opera, Flash and other apps, games also if you want to (check out the repository). You just need to add the appropriate .tce or .tcz files (see here and note the appropriate file locations may not be the same as suggested).

1. You can download the unetbootin-windows-309.exe for Windows from here, an alternatively if you are Linux fan lover and avid of Mac link here.

2. Rename your drive and format your USB as FAT32

3. Create a new folder on your desktop
4. Download UltraISO or any other ISO program where you can extract the files
5. Mount your ISO into UltraISO or other
6. Extract the files into your new folder that you created on your desktop

7. Drag all those files within your new folder into the USB drive, now.

8. Open UNetbootin and navigate to the following:

Kernel: ~\boot\vmlinuz
Initrd: ~\boot\core.gz
Options: ~\boot\isolinux\isolinux.cfg

~ means your files on USB

some builds are varied and will be:

Kernel: ~\boot\bzImage
Initrd: ~\boot\tinycore.gz
Options: ~\boot\isolinux\isolinux.cfg

Note: you can change these options manually. E.g. change the screen resolution (vga = 7??) or change the language (e.g. en.utf8).

Note, this may only work in Windows or Linux system, definitely not Mac OS X. Check out the video below for an alternative method if the one above does not work. Let me know which methods work for you the best :)

If the USB does not load you should add the following kernel boot parameter waitusb=6 to potentially fix the problem.

Tu Me Free VoIP for iPhone

It's not often you see a wireless carrier launch an app that directly competes with its core services, but that seems to be just what the Madrid-based Telefónica is doing with Tu Me, a new integrated communications app for the iPhone. This jack-of-all-trades communication and social networking app works over Wi-Fi as well as your carrier's network and offers free VoIP calling, integrated text and audio messaging, and photo and location sharing. Of course, you'll only be able to communicate or share with other Tu Me users — the app can search your address book for other users, or you can invite friends via SMS or email.

In the few screenshots we've seen, this app looks better designed than we expected — there's a definite Path vibe to the overall layout and iconography, and all of your various communications are threaded by contact. It appears to have a nice feature set as well, though the VoIP and third-party messaging market is already fairly crowded; the text messaging component seems especially needless when you consider Apple's iMessage already allows for free texting between iPhone users.

That said, Telefónica says that Tu Me will be launching on Android soon, and while there are already cross-platform messaging apps available (like Skype, Kik, ChatOn, and of course Facebook's dedicated messaging app), Tu Me has a nice level of polish that might make it worth investigating. That's assuming that visual polish makes its way to the user experience, as well — and even then, we imagine it'll have a tough time against the entrenched competition.

As for how Telefónica will make up for potential revenue lost through the use of its app, the carrier notes that Tu Me is just one part of a number of "enhanced communication services" the company plans to roll out under the Tu brand in the coming months. Telefônica-owned carriers O2, Vivo, and Movistar will all be part of this rollout, though it isn't clear yet what else the company has planned. And while the app is "free to use at launch," the carrier also notes that "the service will continue to be developed with added value functionality," so it wouldn't surprise us to see a cost associated with some future features.- source
