Reverse Mortgages Provide Money for Retirement

Many Boomers are looking to retire but not sure how they can afford it. While savings and retirement plans may have gone down in the past decade there are still options that will allow you to retire in 2013. Many retirees have bought their home years ago and have been faithfully paying ever since. Whether your home is paid off in full or your balance is low, this home loan can turn your asset into a source of income. Speak with a mortgage banker to learn how HECM loans can help you achieve your finance goals.

Reverse Mortgage Information
  • Age matters. The minimum age to qualify for a reverse mortgage is 62. This can be three to five years prior to you qualifying for full social security benefits. A reverse mortgage can carry you through those crucial years.
  • Income. You don't need any! Traditional refinances require you to have an income source in order to make monthly payments. For example if you wanted to take out $100,000 from the equity of your home and use the funds to make payments - you would not qualify unless you had an income source. You do not need an income to qualify for a reverse mortgage, making it the ideal loan for retired seniors.
  • Value. The current value of your home will determine how much you qualify for. Each mortgage program will have different loan to value requirements so speak with a mortgage banker to discuss your options.
  • Interest rate. HECM loans can be structured a variety of ways. A borrower can select a fixed mortgage rate or a variable mortgage rate. Adjustable rates are typically tied to LIBOR. Your mortgage lender will go over the mortgage programs and interest rates with you to determine which option is right for your needs.
  • Stay in your home. A reverse mortgage allows you to stay in the home you love. Instead of that home being a financial burden it becomes a source of revenue. You stay comfortable and make money.
  • Pay checks. Having a reverse mortgage is like having a job that sends you a steady pay check. The checks come at set intervals in dollar amounts you can count on. The only difference is you are retired so you get paid for spending time with your family or walking on the golf course.
  • Current loan. Any existing loan on your home will be refinanced into an Home Equity Conversion Mortgage. You will only have one mortgage lender, making it even easier.
  • Customized plans. An experienced reversed mortgage lender will customize a loan to fit your financial needs. There are many options to choose from including rate structure, payout schedule and the amount of loan you need. It is essential that you work with a mortgage banker that regularly completes reverse mortgages to ensure you receive the best guidance and advice.
Retiring in 2013 is within your reach. Contact a mortgage banker to discuss HECM loans and learn how your home can turn into an income source. An experienced reverse mortgage lender will work closely with you to create a financial plan that puts you in a position to retire comfortably.

Why You Might Need to Hire a Bankruptcy Lawyer?

Many people are unsure just how important a bankruptcy attorney is when it comes time to file their paperwork. Countless people believe that they can handle the system on their own, but they find out that the process is a lot more difficult when there is no professional handling all of the work for them. When trying to make it through all of your financial difficulties, you will want to seek legal representation to make the process easier. Getting the advice and assistance of a professional can help to provide you with an array of benefits that you may never have thought of before.

Consultation

If you are unsure what the best decision is for you and your financial future, a professional can help you understand what the best move is for your situation. When you choose to file your paperwork, you will need to know what type of bankruptcy you are capable of filing based upon your qualifications. All of these decisions can be quite extensive for those who have never been through a bankruptcy proceeding previously. Bankruptcy attorneys will help you throughout the whole process. They work to explain everything to you about the different choices you have from which to choose. Depending on your situation, you will need to determine which option is going to make the most sense for your needs. Don't feel anxious or worried about whether you are wasting a tremendous amount of time in the process. Your legal representative will make sure you fully understand the different things you are dealing with and the options you have to choose amongst.

Paperwork

Since a number of legal issues are going to require an extensive amount of paperwork, it can overwhelm those who try to do the process themselves. Countless legal forms need to be filed at certain times during the proceedings. If you do not adhere to the guidelines of the court, you will end up defaulting on your case because the paperwork is not in order. A single person trying to do everything themselves can become stressed and overwhelmed at the sheer number of forms that need completion. It can be quite confusing to know what forms need to be completed throughout the various stages of your bankruptcy process. When you miss a deadline, your case could wind up getting set back and the whole process could end up being screwed up. Bankruptcy attorneys will handle all of your paperwork, so you won't have to worry about any of that. Since the lawyer is going to handle your case, you won't have to worry about all of the details.

Negotiations

One of the components to rearranging your finances involves being able to negotiate with your creditors and lenders. Most of the time, people have never had to deal with negotiations before. They do not know what they are asking for or where it is that they need to begin. Bankruptcy attorneys understand the entire process thanks to their extensive backgrounds handling cases just like yours. Hiring a professional allows you to use their knowledge and expertise to your advantage. As the proceedings progress, you will be able to use their skills to your advantage.

Protection from Mistakes

Filling out the paperwork is not as easy as one might think. Many people assume that if they want to keep certain items they should omit them from the paperwork. That is not the case. In the end, you may end up having your case dismissed because of paperwork that is not properly completed. You can keep your car protected, but you need to make sure you are doing it the right way. All of the proper information needs to be included in the appropriate places. Not only is this going to save you money by having an attorney handle all of this for you, but it also ensures you won't have to spend money purchasing a new vehicle.

Information is Imperative

Even though you may try to do the best with the information you have, sometimes that is simply not enough. When you choose to file the paperwork on your own, you don't have as much information as you would have if you used a professional attorney. Depending on how old some of your debt is, it could have reached the statute of limitations, which means you won't have to worry about that debt because it is uncollectible. Saving money is something an attorney can do for you.

Uncertainty

When it comes to a bankruptcy petition, there are countless ins and outs to the whole process. You will have to communicate with the court, trustees and creditors. Not only will it be stressful to navigate your way through all of the paperwork and individuals, but also you will not be sure how your actions are going to affect your petition being granted for discharge. Your attorney knows exactly how to proceed in a court proceeding. When they tell you that all of your paperwork is on track, you can rest assured that everything is taken care of for you. Since they handle everything for you, you won't have to feel stressed and worried about whether everything is done properly or not. You will be able to sit back and relax with the peace of mind you need.

In certain instances, lawyers will be able to save you money and help get your debt expunged. Even though it does cost you money out of pocket to hire an attorney, there is an excellent chance you will be able to use this investment to improve upon your financial future. It is much easier to get through the entire process when you have someone who is leading the way and guiding you through the process.

Smartbro Canopy Speed up Slow Connection before you do

This post is for jake Aniz as I have promised to make article in response on his comment on "How to Speed up Slow Smartbro Canopy Connection". Things you should know if you wanted to speed up your SmartBro Motorola Canopy slow connection. Here's a few of the screenshots that will helps you to understand more better.

First of all of course you must login as Administrator such as root or admin username to be able for you to view these details,  another alternative account is the Technician/Installer with sbro-installer username likewise it will let you do the task but with limited features.

The least fixed wireless broadband line-of-sight (LOS) offered by Smart Telecommunication Company that uses Motorola Canopy antenna during my college school days were 512kbps for student plan as you can see from the screenshot above it's an aggregate 512kbps only and just being set to 256kbps for Uplink and Downlink.

For lite user who only chats and check emails online occasionally 1Mbps is just  enough, this was not my plan since I don't have enough budget as a student during that time. This is the second package offered by SmartBro for their fixed wireless broadband an aggregate of 1Mbps as you can see it was only set to 800kbps Downlink and 200kbps Uplink.

The third is for an average user with an aggregate of 2Mbps, subscriber were only given of 1700kbps Downlink and 300kbps Uplink hoping that watching YouTube online will not buffers, good there is pause and play later.

An aggregate of 7Mbps is the final package offered by SmartBro for fixed wireless broadband likewise it uses Motorola Canopy antenna for those who lived at the last mile that can not be reach by either a means of POTS/PSTN xDSL neither with 4G WiMAX broadband or even LTE, this is supposed to be a VIP subscriber account who is hungry for bigpipe bandwidth.

To summarized the above mention aggregation from 512kbps to 7Mbps bandwidth you can only have the maximum Sustained Downlink Date Rate. In short, if your SmartBro Motorola Canopy antenna is an aggregate of 512kbps then that will be maximum you can not do anything about it unless it is set to 256kbps then the remedy is set it to the MAX, period! The luckiest subscribers is those who owned the 7Mbps aggregate SmartBro Canopy antenna thereby they can maximized it to the optimus bandwidth.

The great thinkers; of course its not the end of the world yet! To all SmartBro Canopy subscribers out there who do not owned an aggregate of 7Mbps yet  you still have the chances. Just think of it and you can let replaced your old antenna with the new one of 7Mbps aggregate.

6 Best Cheap Places to Retire Abroad

Over the 20th century, many retirees moved from New England, California and the Midwest to the sunny and sparsely populated Sun Belt, where low taxes and warm weather beckoned. Today, many Americans are moving much farther afield to enjoy a new life at a low cost. Thousands are migrating to Asia, South America, Europe and beyond to stretch their retirement dollars. And foreign countries, eager for the boost to their economies, have taken notice.

With so many nations interested in attracting retirees from abroad, Americans are spoiled for choice. Bankrate uncovers six up-and-coming destinations where retirees can easily live on an income of $2,000 a month. In some cases, retirees are already living there for far less. Read on to discover the affordability of housing, food and medical care at these retirement destinations.

1. Chiang Mai, Thailand

Thanks to its weather and low cost of living, Thailand has been on retirees' radars for years, and Chiang Mai is cheap, even by Thai standards.

"For under $2,000, I live like a king," says Barry, a Canadian who relocated to Chiang Mai in early 2009. Since then, he has rented a 1,200-square-foot condo for a little more than $400 per month. Groceries are no big concern, usually running him about $50 per month. Restaurants cost about twice that at $100 per month -- and he goes out to eat almost every day.

Barry says that Chiang Mai has just about everything he needs. "There are Western-style restaurants, entertainment venues and social events," he says. The city has several modern hospitals. "I had an emergency spinal fusion two years ago at a cost of 280,000 baht (about $9,300 at the time). In Canada, medical coverage is free, but the waiting time is long. Here, the service is almost instantaneous and very professional."

More routine medical issues are so inexpensive, Barry says, that he doesn't need insurance to cover them. "Going to a dentist for a checkup and cleaning is 500 baht," or about $17.

2. Guam

Guam is an often-overlooked alternative for American retirees, despite its many benefits. Because it's a U.S. territory, English is spoken everywhere on the island, and its currency is the U.S. dollar. And, at least on the surface, much of the country's culture and politics will seem familiar to many Americans.

Situated 3,700 miles southwest of Honolulu, Guam is a lower-cost alternative to Hawaii while sharing the same climate. One-bedroom apartments in Guam can rent for as low as $400 per month, with luxury units facing the sea costing $1,000 per month. American citizens can buy property on the island; three-bedroom houses often sell for less than $200,000.

Since the territory is a small, remote island, most items have to be imported, which means groceries can be more expensive than on the U.S. mainland. Meats, most vegetables and some dairy products can cost twice as much. Restaurants, however, are usually comparable in cost to their American counterparts.

Besides enjoying the weather, retirees in Guam can use both American and Guam-based insurers -- including Medicare -- to cover their health care costs. All major medical services are available at Guam Memorial Hospital, which is certified and accredited by several federal agencies in the U.S.

3. Vancouver, British Columbia

While it doesn't have a reputation as a retiree destination, Vancouver remains a viable option for Americans who want to stay close to home while living the cosmopolitan life across the border. The biggest hurdle for Vancouver-bound Americans is real estate. With the most expensive housing prices in Canada and some of the most expensive property in the world, Vancouver is not an investment option for many retirees.

The average house price is $857,400, according to CanadianBusiness.com. Renting is a possibility: One-bedroom apartments in downtown Vancouver start at around 1,400 Canadian dollars (nearly $1,364). Food and entertainment cost about the same as in Seattle, which is less than three hours away by car.

While Americans may not save much on rent or living costs by moving to Canada, one expense is considerably lower up North: health care. "I save over $400 per month on medicine, and I never have to wait to see my doctor," says Betty Segel, an American who has lived in suburban Vancouver for five years. Retirees in Canada have access to the country's public health care system, which provides free care to residents, including expats with a permanent residence in the country.

For Americans concerned about health care costs, the added premium of Vancouver property just might be worth it.

4. Valencia, Spain

The subprime mortgage crisis caused property values to plummet everywhere, including Spain, making the Mediterranean nation suddenly affordable for a number of retirees. The euro crisis notwithstanding, the southeastern coastal city of Valencia offers hundreds of villas, apartments and houses for less than $200,000. New one-bedroom apartments in the city sell for less than 50,000 euros ($65,575). For those who do not want to invest in real estate, rentals are cheap and plentiful. A two-bedroom apartment in the center of Valencia rents for 600 euros per month ($780).

Groceries sold in traditional open-air markets cost the same or less than supermarket prices back in the States, while low property taxes keep the cost of living low for expats in Spain. The country offers free public health coverage, and additional health insurance rarely exceeds $300 per month. Prescription medicines are almost always a fraction of what they would be in America.

Valencia is a great option for retirees who want to spend their golden years traveling. Its airport offers direct flights to France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Morocco and Norway. Round-trip flights to the rest of Europe often cost less than 150 euros ($195).

5. Buenos Aires, Argentina

Although Buenos Aires is pricier than most parts of South America, it is still a bargain compared to most American cities. A one-bedroom apartment in a good neighborhood can be rented for less than $400 per month or bought for less than $70,000. Internet, cable and electricity combined rarely costs more than $100 per month. The city's comprehensive subway system and buses make transportation cheap. One ride on the subway costs 2.50 Argentine pesos (about 50 cents).

Health care in Argentina is a bargain, thanks to the country's public health care system and surplus of doctors. The quality and affordability of Argentina's medical services has led to a booming medical tourism industry. In 2011, more than 100,000 visitors came to Argentina to receive medical care, according to Argentina's National Institute of Tourism Promotion.

For most expats, the costliest part of Buenos Aires is dining in the city's European-style cafes, restaurants and night spots. While movies are relatively cheap in Argentina (a ticket costs less than $8 in most places), dinner out at a restaurant usually costs between $25 and $45. An espresso will cost around $2.50 and can be found in any of the city's thousands of small open-air cafes.

6. Lake Atitlan, Guatemala

Lake Atitlan is about 75 miles away from Guatemala City and is surrounded by volcanoes and villages where Mayan traditions still thrive. The area has perennial spring-like temperatures ranging from the 60s to 80s Fahrenheit. Several waterfront houses are available for rent on the lake; a three-bedroom house costs around $300 per month to rent.

Other expenses remain extremely low in this retiree-friendly part of Guatemala. "Restaurants cost about $10 per dinner and $3 (to) $4 for breakfast," says Andy Lee Graham, founder of HoboTraveler.com. The cheapest foods are also the healthiest; fresh fruits and vegetables cost about a third less in local markets than they do in the U.S.

For those who require assisted living, a full-time personal nurse can be hired for $15 to $20 per day, says Graham. "A maid is about $4 (to) $10 per day."

Graham recommends using taxis or tuk-tuks in Guatemala, which he notes are very cheap. Tuk-tuks are three-wheeled motorized versions of rickshaws. "Tuk-tuks will go between cities for about $3 (to) $5 per city. Inside metropolitan areas, they cost 75 cents for one trip." He warns that, "Driving a car is dangerous, but taxis are safe."

Andy estimates that retirees need $1,000 per month to live near Lake Atitlan.

Thinning Hair in Women: Warning Sign of Underlying Health Issues

Hair is probably a woman's most important feature. Signs of thinning hair can take the sail out of almost any woman's day. It may seem vain to pay so much attention to hair, but signs of thinning hair are really the first signals of such conditions as hormonal imbalance, vitamin deficiency, excessive stress or poor nutrition, all symptoms of declining health status. Paying attention to hair can reveal developing conditions before they get out of control. When you have restored your hair to a full head of vibrant healthy strands, chances are the rest of your body will also exhibit vibrant health.

Nutritional deficiencies may be signaled by thinning hair

Your hair loss may be caused by vitamin D deficiency. Studies show that a large segment of the American population is deficient in this essential nutrient, with hair loss being one of the primary symptoms of this deficiency.

The vitamin D receptor (VDR) is expressed in numerous cells and tissues of the body, including the skin. Studies of mice and humans lacking these functional receptors have demonstrated that absence of the VDR leads to the development of alopecia, a fancy word for hair loss. Hair loss may be an early warning that you are at risk of other maladies linked to a deficiency of vitamin D. The list includes diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, heart disease, depression, multiple sclerosis, gum disease, seasonal influenza and tuberculosis.

Lack of exposure to the sun almost guarantees vitamin D deficiency. Researchers have mapped the U.S. and found that the farther north a person lives, the more likely she is to have vitamin D deficiency. If access to the sun is not an option, supplementing vitamin D with cod liver oil, or capsules of D3 will help. It is now suggested that women receive a minimum of 2,000 units of vitamin D per day. Many cutting edge practioners advocate 10,000 units per day, the amount obtained from a day wearing a bathing suit in the summer sun.

Omega 3 fatty acids affect the biological process of vitamin D. They are responsible for producing cholesterol and at the same time for removing its excess, as well as for most other bodily functions. In order to manufacture vitamin D, the body needs cholesterol. If the diet does not contain enough essential fatty acids, the body can't produce its own vitamin D. In addition to containing usable vitamin D, cod liver oil also provides omega 3 fatty acids.

Hair loss may also be the result of deficiencies of the amino acid lysine, copper, and zinc. However, if your diet is comprised of a wide selection of whole foods including daily servings of fresh vegetables and fruits, this may not be the cause of your hair loss, especially if you are getting enough protein. Hair stands are composed of protein, but if the diet is short on it, the wisdom of the body will divert its use from making hair to sustaining more necessary bodily functions. Taking a whole food supplement such as bee pollen, spirulina or chlorella will help with getting and assimilating needed amounts of the full spectrum of nutrients.

Thinning hair may reflect hormonal imbalance

A woman's hormones can begin to decline and lose balance as early as the 30's. One of the most shocking examples of this imbalance is hair growth appearing on the upper lip or chin, or a coarsening of hair on the rest of the body while the hair on the head thins. This is most likely the result of excessive dihydrotestosterone (DHT) conversion. Although estrogen is the primary hormone of women, they also produce testosterone and other androgens such as DHEA. As the body ages women may begin to convert these androgens to DHT just as men do. Women with a history of polycystic ovarian syndrome tend to have higher levels of testosterone and DHT than other women, and may be more susceptible to this excessive conversion.

To find out if hormonal imbalance is causing hair loss, full range hormone testing can be done. Physicians who administer bio-identical hormones can provide this testing, as well as physicians who specialize in anti-aging medicine. If this is not an option, there are reliable laboratories available online that receive specimens of saliva by mail and provide complete hormone testing results.

Supplements of saw palmetto prevent the excessive conversion of androgens to DHT. It is an herb that comes from the flowers of a beautiful palm tree known as saw palmetto or sabal palm. A dosage of one 160 mg. capsule daily should effectively block this conversion and get the hair back on head and off the face. Saw palmetto has been demonstrated to be safe for prolonged use. If hormone testing is not an option, another way to find out if excessive DHT conversion is causing hair loss is to take a saw palmetto supplement for a period of three months. If hair loss stops where you don't want it and starts where you do want it, your question will be answered.

Excessive levels of hormonal conversion to DHT are highly associated with prostate abnormalities in men and may be a cause of prostate cancer. Saw palmetto has been documented to increase prostate health. The health effects of this conversion in women are not yet fully documented, yet common sense suggests that reducing excessive levels of DHT in women may be helpful in assuring breast and ovarian health.

Declining levels of thyroid hormone can also spark hair loss. It's estimated that forty percent of American women are suffering from significant hair loss related to low thyroid hormones, with redheads particularly at risk. The hormones produced by the thyroid are responsible for metabolism, the sum of all the physical and chemical processes. The thyroid hormones control the efficiency and speed at which cells work. Every cell in the body including the hair depends on proper thyroid function for development. If thyroid production is insufficient, hair growth will slow and hair will eventually thin.

Other symptoms of declining thyroid function are dry skin, sensitivity to hot and cold, unexplained weight gain, missing outer third of eyebrows, constipation, brittle nails, high or low blood pressure, susceptibility to infections, muscle weakness, osteoporosis, joint or muscle pain, cystic breasts or ovaries, chronic sinusitis, slow heart rate, TMJ syndrome, dental problems, headache, and increased cholesterol levels. This list reveals how critical proper thyroid function is to well being.

The good new is that low thyroid can easily be corrected by supplementing the body with bio-identical thyroid hormones. Armour thyroid is the natural form of thyroid hormone.

Too much stress can cause hair to thin

Hair loss may be the first indication that your stress level is taking a toll on your body. Stress is nothing less than epidemic today, and this high level can actually cause hair loss along with many more serious health problems. Excessive physical or emotional stress associated with illness, injury, and trauma may cause the hair to stop growing and enter a period of dormancy which is followed two or three months later by the hair falling out. When physical or emotional equilibrium is regained, hair will again begin to grow, usually about 6 to 9 months later.

A more serious situation develops when stress is constant and almost unrelenting as it is for many people in this society. Hair thinning will continue unless effective means of dealing with the stress are put in place and calmness can be restored. Prolonged hair loss caused by chronic stress is a warning that other bodily systems are in jeopardy.

Cortisol is the stress hormone that gives the body its fight or flight response to stressful situations. It is an important hormone secreted by the adrenal glands and involved in maintaining proper glucose metabolism, regulation of blood pressure, insulin release for blood sugar maintenance, immune function, and inflammatory response. When stress is constant and prolonged, cortisol levels stay elevated and the body enters a state of chronic stress.

Higher and prolonged levels of corisol in the bloodstream have been shown to have negative effects, such as impaired cognitive performance, suppressed thyroid function, blood sugar imbalances, decreased bone density, decreased muscle tissue, higher blood pressure, lowered immunity, heightened inflammatory response, and increased abdominal fat. If no steps are taken to reduce the stress level, heart attack or stroke may follow.

To keep corisol levels healthy, the body's relaxation response should be activated. Learn to relax the body with various stress management techniques and make changes in your lifestyle to minimize the stress. Eat a diet of whole food that emphasizes vegetables and fruits. Take supplements like bee pollen, spirulina and chlorella to make sure nutrition is complete. Add alfalfa to keep your body fully mineralized, as stress raises the need for minerals. The B complex vitamins as well as vitamin C are needed to support the adrenal gland while dealing with chronic stress.

Hair products containing toxic chemicals promote hair loss

Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) is the dominant ingredient in almost all shampoos sold in traditional outlets such as supermarkets, drugstores and discount centers. In addition to having toxic effects on your immune system, SLS has been shown to corrode hair follicles and impede hair growth. It has been blamed for many cases of hair loss. The Material Safety Data Sheet provided by the U.S. government says exposure to SLS can lead to burning, coughing, wheezing, laryngitis, shortness of breath, headache, nausea and vomiting. The American College of Toxicology says SLS stays in the body for up to five days and maintains residual levels in the heart, liver, brain, and lungs.

Over-treated hair is another cause of hair loss in women. Hair dyes, permanents, and relaxers do serious damage to the hair and scalp whether they contain lye or not. They are made with toxic chemicals that must be detoxified by the liver, and are identified by the immune system as foreign invaders. Thus health of the liver and the immune system are compromised by use of these products. When the liver is busy trying to detoxify an onslaught of foreign chemicals, estrogen metabolism may not be properly completed and breast cancer may be promoted. An immune system busy fighting off an invasion of foreign chemicals may not be able to prevent infection or identify and destroy abberant cells. Damage from dyes and relaxers can only heal when those potions are no longer used on the hair.

Wi-Tribe Philippines My Experienced

Wi-Tribe Review in the Philippines. I’ve always used Bayandsl as my ISP, but as I moved to a new place, I wanted to try other ISPs. I tried calling other ISPs, most of their packages were bundled with other services (like landline phones) which I don’t really need. So I ended up trying out one of the popular ISPs called Wi-Tribe, and here’s my Wi-Tribe Philippines Review …

Wi-Tribe Philippines Marketing is really well done

Wi-Tribe Broadband has got 3 postpaid plans (1mbps, 2mbps and 4 mbps), and they’ve also got some prepaid plans that can go as fast as 6mbps. Luckily my brother had a prepaid stick (Wi-tribe 4G Stick) which I borrowed to test it in my place. Signal was ok, and I was getting speeds of around 1.75 mbps (up to 2 mbps) which was acceptable. I remember a lot of bad reviews from this company like speed capping, slow video loading, and slower speeds when downloading. But I thought it was the last few years and it could be better now. I called up the tech support team and they’ve said that the concerns I have has been addressed and is not a problem anymore.

So I went ahead and visited their shop to test their internet, I loaded speedtest from both speedtest.net and wi-tribe speed test which confirmed that the speed is indeed as fast as they claim to be. I was pretty convinced and so I went ahead and registered myself one, in less than an hour, I had a new modem and router on my hand (I took the 4mbps postpaid plan). I was lucky to get the promo where I was given 2 months free and instead of paying P1998, I only needed to pay P1298 per month! I was happy to get the deals and have a quick application.

Wi-Tribe Review

When I got home, first thing I did was to configure everything. I tested it on my laptop and used my own high speed router to share to other devices. When I tried with the Wi-Tribe speed test, I was getting 0.75 mbps (1mbps during the first 24 – 48 hours to test before locking in for 12 months). I thought it was ok and that 0.75 seems to be a reasonable speed at 1 mbps at most. I thought that if I can get 0.75 mbps on 1 mbps, I should get at least 3 mbps on a 4 mbps max speed (while BayanDSL was getting 2.2 mbps at 3 mbps max that is extended from another wireless extender).

Tech support called 48 hours later to verify if I want to continue and I said yes so I can try the speeds of 4mbps. After 12 hours of waiting, it was upgraded to the 4 mbps and when I got home I was excited to try it out. To my disappoinment, it only gave speeds of 1.80mbps – 2.20 mbps with their own speed test. I called tech support and this is what they told me to do:
  • Turn modem off for 5 to 10 minutes
  • Reset Modem (button at the bottom of the modem, press for 10 seconds)
  • Find the best spot for signal (I had 4 bars which was ok)
After doing all that, it was still giving me the same speeds. Aside from the speed issues, what I noticed is that YouTube loads at a very very slow rate (compared to BayanDSL at almost same speeds). Then I realized they have this “Fair usage policy”, which allows them to cap your speed in heavy usage. But the only thing was that I wasn’t heavily using and I only have a browser open and trying to load up a YouTube video.

I’m already considering cancelling this service with them and going with another ISP. I feel that cable DSL might still be more reliable that wireless ones and I totally hate the fact that they control your speeds thus limiting you to what you can and cannot do. Wi-Tribe Internet Connection seems to be for very light users who surf and email without videos or downloading. I’m going to give them one last chance for the tech support to visit my place, if it still fails then I’m cancelling it.

S Since most of the customers shop through internet, it is not a good option to stay visible on the net. A good SEO firm will act as an internet marketing consultant and help in marketing one's business on the internet.

Permanent one way link building is an important means of search engine optimization as the basic idea behind optimization is to establish link popularity. Meta tag optimization has also given adequate boost to many companies although this technique cannot be adopted by novices and requires the guidance of an established SEO firm. SEO is a huge business and one of the most offered service packages on the World Wide Web.

Designing the website that fulfills all the requirements of the Search Engine optimization is very crucial. Before putting your site in the search engine makes it sure that the content and new pages show up notably in the search engines. If this is not so, you may need to opt for a content management system. The business can be affected in both ways by internet marketing and appropriate guidance is essential to yield positive results.

Avoid Websites That Look Like Electronic Brochures

As web companies find the internet more and more competitive, it will be a necessity and not a luxury to have a well-built, functional website that can provide dependable service to all potential customers and internet visitors. With so much competition for selling on this electronic medium, it would be easy to inadvertently lose potential sales - which leaves no room for digital mistakes.

Unfortunately, companies often fail to realize that a nice looking website must offer much more valuable information and opportunity than a sales brochure and that anything even remotely like a brochure will work against adding more clients. A business with a recognizable brand that is looking to increase revenue and profitability must provide more than just an electronic sales leaflet in order to attract and keep customers.

Main Website Purposes

To better cater to visitors and potential customers, it is vital to a successful operation to realize that there are three main points that a website must offer in order to achieve such success.

Provide what visitors are looking for, whether it be a product, a service, or information.
Provide enough informative content to give details about available products or services as well as answer any questions a user might have about that information.

Provide easy direction for a user to follow to conclude a visit, either by purchasing a product or service or by supplying desired information.

Trying to fulfill all of the above listed items as quickly as possible with little interruption or difficulty is the key to internet business success. When a company is unable to efficiently provide the above, that action can cause a website to fall short of its goal to be helpful and promote sales conversions.

Avoid Unnecessary Content and Clutter

A company's internet presence has the difficult task of rapidly capturing a viewer's attention and holding it long enough for that visitor to become immersed in the website's content and want to conclude some type of transaction. There must be quality content and easy navigation outward from the home page. Unnecessary content just clutters up a page, adds confusion, and wastes otherwise useable space.

Websites should be scaled down to include only the most necessary content. Splash pages and other such effects that distract from the main message should also be avoided as users want to quickly find what they were looking for and not waste time trying to avoid distractions.

Provide Useful Content and Direction

The best way to make a website user-friendly and increase visitor attention is to offer simple navigation, useful headlines, and necessary content written in easy to understand language. At no point should a potential customer be more than two to three clicks away from what is wanted. The layout should be consistent on each page and an obvious call to action should be furnished to prevent confusion.

It is important to always provide enough information with products or services so that customers can make informed buying decisions. Lack of helpful product information is an invitation for users to look for that product or service elsewhere on a competing website. The ideal design should offer users easy access to understandable product data pages to allow for a confident purchasing choice. It is imperative that this be done in order to have a successful and profitable internet business.

Websites that offer the important elements mentioned above should help a company expand its internet horizon. Businesses that experience increasing internet traffic without increasing sales should re-evaluate all provided content and its usability. Clear directions that provide everything users need to successfully purchase a product right at their fingertips will be much more successful than an antiquated electronic brochure!

What’s The Best Treatment For Molluscum Contagiosum?

I was recently diagnosed with molluscum contagiosum. The doctor said that this is not normally sexually transmitted, which was my big worry at first. She also told me that the body will destroy the virus naturally but could take up to six months to do it! She didn’t prescribe anything for me, and now I would like to get medication for this. What hope do I have of getting medicine, and what would be the best for this virus that is interrupting my love life?

Molluscum contagiosum (MC) is a viral infection of the skin and occasionally of the conjunctiva of the eyes. The lesions are small raised bumps, usually about 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch in diameter. They have flat or slightly dimpled tops, and therefore are usually not confused with pimple-like bumps. They do not have the coarse or rough surface of a wart. They are usually flesh-colored or slightly yellow, but can become red if inflamed. Unless inflamed, they do not hurt or itch. They can occur on any part of the body, though I have most often seen them on the abdomen or upper thighs.

The way by which one catches MC is not known. Our writer’s doctor is correct that they are not a sexually transmitted disease, and I see no reason for her to allow this to interfere with her love life. They are spread by autoinoculation — that is, by picking at one and then scratching the skin elsewhere, but obvious transmission between two people is unusual. They commonly appear in children, and often will not be spread to other members of the household. One old dermatology text that I have calls them “not particularly contagious.”

MC is often not treated, and will disappear spontaneously over a period of months. However, many people, like today’s writer, are unwilling to wait, and because the bumps may be cosmetically unattractive, I can understand. Treatment consists of traumatizing the lesions, and it can be done in a number of ways. The bumps have a core, which can often be picked out by a small curette. The tip of a small knife blade could be used. It need not be sharp, since one wants to pop or pry out the core of the lesion, not cut it out. I have often treated them by lightly freezing the bumps with liquid nitrogen, and I know many dermatologists will lightly cauterize the lesions. They should heal without leaving a scar, unless cautery has been used too vigorously.

If our writer wants to try treating them herself, she can try popping out the core with a small blunt knife. She should try it on one in a spot that she can easily see and reach. I would suggest then waiting for a week or so to make sure that it is healing before attacking the rest of them. An alternative would be to get some dry ice, and freeze the bump, trying to avoid freezing the surrounding skin. Dry ice should be handled with gloves to prevent freezing the fingers. If she would rather have them treated by a doctor, I would suggest seeing a dermatologist, since her regular doctor, who I presume is not a dermatologist, doesn’t want to do it. Many general doctors do not keep cautery units or liquid nitrogen in their offices, and she may be unfamiliar with the popping method.
