Globe Broadband Huawei BM622i admin Password

How to login on Globe Broadband 4G WiMAX CPE Huawei BM622i latest updated firmware 2011 or the so called V100R001PHLC08B025. First open up any of your favorite browser, on the address bar type http://192.168.254.1 which is the default web graphical interface (gui) IP address of the Huawei BM622i device.

Before you can login to admin account/privilege you must be login using user account,  Username is user and the Password is 0SlO051O. To clarify the password it is Zero(0) - Captial(s) - small(L) - Capital(o) - Zero(0) - Five(5) - One(1) - Capital(o). You can check this previous post on how to login on Globe Broadband 4G WiMAX Huawei Bm622i using default username and password.

Once you are able to login using user account with the default username and password, look for WAN MAC address an example is on screenshot above F4:C7:14:6B:F3:D1. Copy the twelve (12) digit hexadecimal WAN MAC address except/remove the semi-colon e.g. F4C7146BF3D1, now open your Huawei wififree.exe password generator paste the twelve (12) digit hexadecimal WAN MAC address e.g. F4C7146BF3D1 then click generate the result will be your admin password.

BM622i Change MAC via Telnet 2011 Firmware

This tutorial is how to change MAC Address on Huawei BM622i WiMAX CPE 4G wireless broadband modem firmware 2011 aka V100R001PHLC08B025. To do this is you must have a telnet client, if you are using Windows 7 you must enable it first on your Control Panel => Programs and features. On Windows XP telnet client is enable by default or you can use Putty if you do not have one it is also a telnet client.

If your prefer to used Windows telnet client  you can click Start => Run, then type cmd a command to open Windows command line interface (CLI) then just press enter will prompt you a window. Type telnet 192.168.254.1 be sure your in the same subnet IP address range. On the other hand, you can also use Putty utility a graphical interface (GUI) telnet client just input 192.168.254.1 on port 23 and it will open a window telnet.

Here's the few steps on how to do the stuff via telnet command line interface:

Then after the Huawei BM622i WiMAX CPE 4G broadband modem reboots, open any browser type http://192.168.254.1 login with the Username and Password "user", used password generator to generate an admin password for the MAC you used and log in as admin on Huawei BM22i.

On the left side menu clicked or go to WiMAX => Security
You must change the NAI with your MAC Address "XXXXXXXXXXXX@globelines.com.ph"

Changing the Username and Password is a must with the admin password you have generated from your generator and then click apply to save the changes. If it works for me then absolutely it will also works for you.

Globe WiMAX BM622i default Username Password

Recently Globe Telecom one of the wireless ISP broadband in the Philippines updated their WiMAX CPE modem firmware Huawei model BM622i. The updates is to improve and enhance modem security performance such as the username and password as no longer supports the older user account that is username and password is "user".

The new firmware of BM622i is V100R001PHLC08B025 which means all updated Globe WiMAX Huawei BM622i its username to access the web GUI is still "user" while the password is 0SlO051O. To clarify the password it is "Zero-Captial S-small L-Capital O-Zero-Five-One-Capital O".

Huawei BM622m Best NAND Flasher Programmer

As we all know the new BM622m is the replacement of the legacy Huawei Echolife BM622 and BM622i 4G WiMAX wireless broadband modem router. This new device have more advantages than those two old model wireless residential gateway. Taking a look on the hardware of the BM622m it is equip with a NAND flash memory HYNIX HY27US08561A  using TSOP48 package unlike BM622 built with NOR flash memory such as Spansion S29GL064 or STMicro M29W640 likewise same 48pins. 

The hardest part of BM622m is the reverse engineering, if you wanted to dump the flash memory into a raw file of this CPE its not as easy as that of BM622 and BM622i unit were MiniPro TL866CS programmer won't support for dumping it.

One of the best NAND programmer I have found on the net is the Flash Doctor, in contrast to MiniPro TL866CS  programmer that support more than 11 thousand of Chips except for NAND flash memory.

Flash Doctor supports all NAND-based flash storage devices (SD, SM, MMC, XD, USB Pendrive, MemoryStick, CompactFlash etc.), with damaged controller or any other front ends (PCB, etc.) since Flash Data Recovery Doctor needs to work on the flash memory only when users carry out Flash Data Recovery.

Hopefully this article will help my avid reader and commenter who has been longing for their BM622m to dump the firmware to be able for them to downgrade their WiMAX CPE.

My First Post After Vacation

To all my avid guests, readers and commentators I would like to ask an apologized to all of you guys for being not able to reply all your comments, request  and inquiry. As of today this is my first post after my twenty-five (25) days vacation outside the country. As I write this post I am still in this NAIA Terminal 3 (Manila) right in this corner of Passenger Holding Area waiting for my flight bound to my hometown tomorrow morning at 5:45 AM.

Luckily I have brought my Huawei Echolife BM622i 4G WiMAX Broadband wireless modem router with me, its from Globe Telco ISP and was able to hooked to the internet with average connection. I didn't depend on the free WiFi here coz' its so slow and opted to intermittent connection. My TP-Link TL-MR3040 portable battery operated pocket wireless router  provides my wireless connectivity to my  Asus X44H lappy and to my Cherry Mobile Magnum HD smartphone. The good thing is that my Rapoo model:1620 wireless invisible optical mouse helps me navigate the web browsing and clicking it even without the mousepad I can moved it comfortably.

Here are few shots taken by my Canon DLSR Rebel T3 were I bought last December at Low Yat Plaza, I have re-sized the photos to 30% using ACDSee photo editor b'coz its too huge 4.7Mb something can take time uploading it.

An additional, there are atleast four to five 4G wireless APs of Globe Telecom here at NAIA Terminal 3 at this corner were I sit now and the RSSI is ranging from 66dBm to 120dBm depending on how your Huawei Echolife BM622i 4G WiMAX wireless broadband router orientation to get the better signal to the APs.

Step by Step How to Used SPI Program Flasher

This tutorial for Wimax BM622i modem you need a know how in hex and electronics, you need also a hot air tools. Change MAC using LPT Flasher and dump files and SPI Program, There are humor that Bm622i is similar to xbox 360.

1. Be sure na connected yung programmer sa voltage source 9-12VDC at least 500mA.

2. Connect your LPT/PRINTER cable sa socket ng programmer. DO NO USED USB-LPT CONVERTER! It will NOT work!

3. Run the software and SELECT your LPT Port.

4. After selecting the port kung saan nakakabit yung programmer, TEST HARDWARE nyo po. Dapat DETECTED yung programmer nyo.

5. Once na detected na yung programmer, CALIBRATE nyo na.

6. Now we are ready for programming...

Sundan nyo na lang po sumusunod na images panu mag program at mag save ng DUMPS.

How To Put MAC? On your HEX Editor Find a MAC with COLON :
